Rahman 400/110/30 kV substation
ELM Electromontaj Cluj built the 400/110/30 kV Rahman Station, which is located in the Tulcea area, on the administrative territory of the Topolog – Casimcea – Daeni communes. The work was financed from sources from investors.
The station connects a wind farm to the national energy transmission grid, leading at the same time to energy efficiency and increasing the safety of the energy transmission system.
The 400/110/30 kV Rahman station was composed of:
- the Rahman 400 kV station and LEA 400 kV connection executed on the connection tariff and became the property of Transelectrica;
- the Rahman 110/30 kV station, including the 400/110 kV transformation units whose beneficiary is a consortium under the coordination of the Verbund company from Austria (Alpha Wind SRL, Beta Wind SRL, CAS Regenerabile SRL and Land Power SRL).
Each of the two stations are independent, having their own technological facilities, control block and auxiliary facilities.
The new 400 kV station is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment: switching equipment, power transformers, control and protection equipment as well as an automation system for the stations.
