The 220/110 kV Peştiş station is located in Western Transylvania, on the outskirts of the Hunedoara municipality and fulfills two functions: supplying the Hunedoara steel platform, both at 220 kV and at 110 kV (together with the 220/110 kV Hăşdat station) and the of power transit between the source node Mintia and the consumption area Valea Jiului-Călan.
