In IRAN, ELM Electromontaj Cluj has built over 2800 km of 63 kV-132 km and 230 km single and double circuit power lines in four large regions – KHUZESTAN AREA, NORTH-EST AREA, AZERBAIJAN AREA and KURDISTAN AREA. The routes of the lines crossed mountainous areas, desert, irrigated and cultivated areas.
Within these projects, our company provided technical solutions for a series of problems related to the relief and difficult climate of the area, as well as the calculation of dimensioning under severe conditions such as: low temperatures (-40°C), wind speed up to 175 km/h and load up to 8 kg per linear meter of conductor.
The projects carried out in Iran complied with American, English, German and IEC (Institutional Electrotechnical Commission Standards).
